We want to take this opportunity to first thank all out donors and those who helped us fundraise and collect books, computers, and clothing.
We are proud of completing the first phase of our prohect: the distribution of computers, clothing and books to support education in Africa, held on May 29th in Vogan koutime, a small village in the south of Togo. Our representative in Togo traveled to the village for meetings with authorities to discuss the consolidation and execution of the project. In total, we gave away three computers, 300 books, and packages of clothing.
The second phase is the donation of three boxes of clothing and books to the orphanage of Vo-Koutime. The orphanage is a social project caring for the abandoned and homeless children. It supports 125 children today and relies on the donations of social organizations such as African Youth for Education Impact AYEI, the YMCA Togo, The Peace Corps and many others.
We are happy to present you pictures our team took during the event. You can now see where your donations are going and the difference we can make in these kids’ lives not just in Africa, but around the world.
